Where your PDF goes

Your PDF goes to our server at gate402.app, where we read its text. To find the blanks, the first 12,000 characters of that text go to OpenRouter, an outside AI service, which runs the model (Llama 3.1 8B) at one of the companies that host it. How long they keep it is up to their policies, not ours. Upload the blank form, not one you’ve already filled in. More on the privacy page.

Can people type into it after?

Yes. It returns a PDF with interactive fields that anyone can fill in a normal PDF reader.

Does it work on scanned forms?

No. It needs a PDF with real text in it, and a scan is only a picture of the text, so the tool stops with an error. Run a scan through OCR first.
