Information We Collect
We collect minimal information:
- Contact form data: If you email us through our contact form, we receive your name, email address, and message content.
- Files you give the $1 tools: See The $1 tools below. Five of them send text from your file to an outside AI service.
- Automatically collected data: Like most websites, our hosting provider and third-party services may collect standard log data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URLs.
- Cookies and similar technologies: Our blog uses cookies for advertising purposes through Google AdSense (see below).
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries and project requests
- Send the newsletter to people who signed up for it
- Run the $1 tools you pay for
- Improve our website and content
- Serve relevant advertisements on our blog
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
Google AdSense
Our blog displays advertisements served by Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service provided by Google LLC. Google and its partners may use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites on the Internet.
When you submit our contact form, your message is processed by FormSubmit.co to deliver it to our email inbox. FormSubmit may temporarily process your name, email, and message content for delivery purposes.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of third-party vendor use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info.

Cookies and How to Control Them
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device. On our blog, cookies are used primarily by Google AdSense and its advertising partners to measure ad performance and, where permitted, to personalize the ads you see. Third parties, including Google, use cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers let you block third-party cookies entirely. Disabling cookies will not break the Site, though some advertisements may become less relevant. You can also manage ad personalization directly through the Google and industry opt-out links in the section above.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic: which pages are popular, how visitors arrive, and general device and country information. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. On this site, Google Analytics sets its cookies only after you accept the cookie notice.
The same Google Analytics property measures visits to our web apps: the Farcaster mini apps Keycast, Coined it, RugRadar, Rug or Legit, Which Coin Moons, Caption Battle and Board Arena, plus Daybreak (daybreak.rebelstudiossoftware.com). Those apps have no cookie notice, so for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland they run in a cookieless mode and set no cookies, and advertising storage is never enabled in them. gate402.app also uses Google Analytics. You can opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google’s browser add-on.
Browser Extensions
We publish browser extensions, including Resume Keyword Matcher for ATS for Chrome and Firefox. They are covered by this policy, and they handle data differently from this website:
- Your resume stays on your device. The resume text you paste, and the job posting text the extension reads, are stored locally in your browser's own extension storage. They are never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and we cannot see them.
- Page text is read only when you ask. The extension reads the visible text of the tab you are viewing only at the moment you click its button, and only for that tab. It does not run in the background or on pages you have not asked it to read.
- One outbound request, and only if you buy. If you activate a paid licence, the licence key you paste is sent to Gumroad (api.gumroad.com) to check that the purchase is valid. That is the only network request the extension makes. Nothing is sent on the free tier.
- No analytics and no accounts. The extensions contain no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind, and you do not create an account to use them.
- Uninstalling removes the data. Because everything is held in your browser's extension storage, removing the extension removes what it stored.
The $1 tools
Our $1 tools run on gate402.app, a server we operate on Railway. Here is what happens to what you send them:
- We keep no copy of your file or the result. Your file is processed while you wait, and the result comes back in the same response. For our accounts we log which tool ran, when, the price and a shortened hash of your IP address. A hash like that can be matched back to the address, so we treat it as the address itself. A crypto payment also records the paying wallet, which the blockchain already makes public. We don’t yet delete these logs on a schedule.
- Five tools send text to an outside AI service. They read the text out of your file on our server (photos are OCR’d there too), then send part of it to OpenRouter, which runs an open model (Llama 3.1 8B) at one of the companies that host it. How long OpenRouter and that company keep the text is set by their policies, not ours, and we have not limited which host is used. What each one sends:
- ATS resume fixer: the first 12,000 characters of your resume and the first 8,000 of the job description.
- OCR → structured data: the first 12,000 characters of text read from your document, and the fields you asked for.
- Invoice → professional: the first 12,000 characters of what you gave it, as text.
- PDF → fillable: the first 12,000 characters of the PDF’s text.
- PDF accessibility fixer: the first 10,000 characters of the PDF’s text.
- The other tools don’t send your file anywhere. Two reach outside because that is their job: the website screenshot tool visits the address you give it, and the ABI decoder looks up the contract you name on Blockscout (base.blockscout.com), which is public blockchain data.
- Stripe handles card payments. You type your card into Stripe’s form, and we never see the number. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
Third-Party Links and Services
Our website links to external sites and relies on a small number of third-party services, including GitHub, Google Play, our product sites (trade-guard.pro and gate402.app), Google AdSense for advertising, FormSubmit.co for contact-form delivery, Railway for hosting gate402.app and the newsletter list, Stripe for card payments, and OpenRouter for the five AI tools named above. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third-party websites, and we encourage you to review their policies.
Data Retention
Contact inquiries are retained only as long as needed to respond and manage our business relationship. Newsletter sign-ups stay until you ask us to remove them. The $1 tools keep no copy of your files; their usage log is described above. Server logs and advertising data are retained according to our hosting and advertising providers’ policies.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the limited information we handle, including serving the entire Site over encrypted HTTPS. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data. Under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), these can include the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data, and to object to certain processing. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion, and to opt out of any “sale” of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below and we will respond as required by applicable law.
Children’s Privacy
Our website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
